Six things that are true of the software rather than of the marketing. The price comes further down the page — it is the consequence of the first one of these, not the reason to switch.
A seat is charged for somebody who can change the business — send a quote or an invoice, add a client, take a payment. Everybody else works for free. Hiring two more labourers changes your payroll and not your software bill.
Extra work gets its own quote, its own approval and its own line on the invoice, while the original quote stays exactly as the customer accepted it. That is the record you want when somebody asks in March what was agreed in January.
Expenses, labour and a share of the overhead land against the job as they happen, so the margin is a number you watch rather than one you find out about afterwards, when there is nothing left to do about it.
Every workspace gets a database of its own, backed up every night, with a copy you can download and keep. It is the difference between renting a filing cabinet and renting a drawer in one.
Hours, photos, receipts and daily reports arrive from the job while the job is happening, attached to the right project. Nobody retypes a paper timesheet on Friday afternoon, and nothing goes missing between the truck and the desk.
Seats and storage are the only difference between the plans. Job costing, change orders, payments and reports are not held back for a bigger one, so growing does not mean discovering what you were missing.
